Racing Genk: “We want Itzhaki back”

Barak Itzhaki will probably return to Racing Genk next season.The 24-year striker already played in Genk between January 1st en July 18th 2008 in Genk but returned to Beitar Jerusalem. Because the club has financial troubles, Ithaki’s transfer will be owned by KRC Genk again. Genk would not sell him but give him a new chance in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.

Genk, is already working on next season’s campaign. It is the intention to keep the key players. With exception of Tom De Mul, who will return to Seville. Therefore, Barak Itzhaki is back in picture.

“Itzhaki has specific qualities for that position, so he qualifies for a return.” told chairman Lemmens in the Belgian media.
